I think it will be close, Croatia are never beaten and France have been quite profligate.

Considering players like Lingard, Delph, Rose etc are not even key players for their club side, it wasn't a half bad effort. But we should have won that game. When we were playing football we dominated. First half we created 3-4 clear cut chances and Croatia barely had a sniff. The ability was there.

Half time, it was clear we had to get the mentality right with Croatia bond to come back. Not sure Southgate got into the team as he needed to at HT.

Stones, Walker, Henderson, Sterling, Lingard were all pretty much as I expected: Average to poor. Some of the others did quite well. Kane not at his best, but that's partly because of the system England are playing.

You can't really expect a team that relies on Henderson to be the creative force in midfield to win a world cup. If England had someone else but him spreading balls around in midfield, might've had a chance.

Not sure it was the system. From what I saw this cup, Kane is England's best, fit, central midfielder.

Our biggest problem was having to play Henderson and expecting him to not do a Henderson

I thought Henderson did alright this tournament, to be fair.

Don't underestimate the Croats. Remember 2 years ago, France were meant to smash Portugal in the Euro 2016 final, at home in Paris? France have the ability to bottle it again
