Christian Pulisic

Think he'd be a very good signing, however:

(i) he doenst cover CF like Martial would so think we'd still need a CF
(ii) he'd join Eriksen, Dele, Son, Moura and Lamela as options for the role behind the CF...6 senior player for 3 spots is a lot. I'd sell Lamela

Intriguing. Liverpool have (of course) been linked with him too. But with their existing attacking options and apparent chase of Fekir, would he get as much regular time?

Fingers crossed. Only seen him against us, but he was handy with the ball at his feet. Able to ghost past players with great close control. Looking at his goal stats Poch would want to get him scoring more. Could be a quality signing. Maybe Pulisic doesn't know his destination yet, but that the suitors are all from the PL. It does sound like something more concrete and he knows his destination...hopefully the sexy part of north london.

Apparently in a CNN interview tonight he said he's moving to the EPL “very shortly”

Yeeeeeah he’s coming. NFL, US audience crossover. Young, grounded, humble, but can handle the pressure of expectation that comes from being his countries’ best player. Perfect Poch player. Perfect business move.

Son to go between LWF and Kane back up, sharing the left with CP. Lucas, Lamela, Eriksen, Dele also in behind. Some real nice depth there.

I think I mentioned how much I'd like Pulisic in the Bale thread.

Long story short, he'd be perfect.

He's not the complete package by any means - in fact, if he does come, I think a lot of people will be surprised by how raw and prone to errors he is.

But that's par for the course for a 19-year-old. And what he does have definitely far outweighs what he doesn't.

I like that, 905.

There are things a player can learn throughout his career. And there are things that are innate and can't be, haha, teached.

Pulisic has that innate will to win we see with so many American athletes. It's bred into them from the off. Few other nations can focus their athletic resources as well as the States. I know he's in Germany now, but that will to win was with him at an early age. He'd be perfect for Spurs at this exact moment. Far more than any other PL side he could join.

Just imagine Rebecca Lowe, the two Robbies and Kyle Martino going rapturous over him on their PL telecasts.

Scary to ponder that if he's wearing red, mind.

I think he'd be an excellent signing TBH. 19. CL experience. Big-game experience. Tremendous ability and still very, very coachable. I think he has a lot to offer. This would be top-drawer IMO AND fit all the models/tick all the boxes.
