Ryan Sessegnon

Yep, I agree. All things considered Chelsea would be a good move for him especially as they are shifting their model towards younger players with re-sale value. He may well get time in an attacking position more than he could with us. Only thing that may tip it back our way is the Fulham / Chelsea thing..and I'm not even sure how much that affects things.
If Chelsea move to a sustainable player development model next season, will their fans and senior players have the patience to see it through if it doesn’t bring CL again? Then potentially 3 years at Wembley should make that even more difficult to maintain. I’m hoping that will be the case, maybe with them running out of their dirty money halfway through the build and having to ground share with West Ham.

He’s stated several times that he wants to play in PL with Fulham, he’s loved there and he loves being there. Personally think there’s 0% chance of him leaving for a year or two now....

Scrub this one off the list now. 0% he will leave and after one decent season in the PL he will be off to City for 80 mill

Shame for us, but great for him. He must be so happy right now.

First time I’ve really got to see him up close today. It’s his decision making that is insanely good for an 18 year old. Always makes the right choice. So calm. He doesn’t appear especially talented or Uber quick, but he’s always in the right place or bringing the right player into the game. Huge fan. Good luck to him next season - hope he continues to develop him in the same way.

Depends on how much Khan wishes to invest. They will need to upgrade their squads to stand a chance of staying up IMO, and Sessegnon for 50-60 would go a long way to giving them several players. Let's see. I agree it is unlikely he will be heading to us right now, but never say never...

We Could quite easily lock in a decent fee now, loan him back for the season (least he'll be getting 38 prem games)...and some clause about serious injuries.?

There is no doubt he has potential, but apart from the assist I was a little disappointed in his performance today, the game seem to pass him by, Grealish looked good and I'm sure with the right handling he could be a good player, (now wait for bias comments). He' a young lad who' made mistakes and if he wants to work hard he has the ability to play for England.

Really? I thought Sess was great. As I said, he isn’t about tricks or really even rapid pace, but he’s all about composure and making the right decision every time. He’ll be a top player on that.

If Chelsea appoint Sarri, which is looking very likely, he stands a good chance of getting good playing time. Apparently Sarri likes to work with youngsters and whatever players he has at his disposal, rather than splashing for big name signings. This might bode well for a number of other Chelsea youngsters too.

There's still about 8552 other youngsters on loan to compete with, though. Since only a handful of them actually played for Chelski, no one at the club really knows what they're capable of. That should be a big question mark for young Ryan.

Most young footballers don't see ???, they see $£€

Khan has not ruled out the possibility of accepting a huge offer but only with a clause that allows Sessegnon to continue his development in west London next season.

'If a club pays a ridiculous fee (for Sessegnon) he's not going to be breaking into their starting XI so he will be at Fulham next year; what the terms are I don't know,' Khan added.

Are we in the position to commit to a 40-50 mill transfer and send the player back to his club for a year
