Mine has finally packed up, had it years but it has finally given in today. Anyone got one they could recommend?

Also I need some new water butts am trying to harvest as much rainwater as possible. Got two tanks and they are overflowing right now already.

Petrol or electric?

I have four massive water harvesters which are pretty good but they don’t have a make on them I’m afraid and I inherited them, blue plastic and stainless steel locking collars.

Not sure why a water harvester needs to be petrol or electric. If the are above ground you dont need a motor to power the water out.

I wouldn't bother with a strimmer, it's a waste of your life

Next you'll be buying a "lawn edger"

Go and do something more fun mate!

I would like a water butt to collect water for plants... but they cost money, the government should give them out free

Just use a pair of shears on the edges. A lot less faff than plugging something in and having to unspool it every couple of minutes.
