Championship and EFL Football

Bolton score to take them out of the relegation zone only to concede three minutes later.

fudging Bolton score twice in the 87th and 88th minute to beat Forest 3-2 and stay up. They even had Ben Alnwick in goal for the first half.

Looks like Fulham will be going to the playoffs.

Looks like a competitive set of teams as well, for once:
Derby v Fulham
Boro v Villa

With Cardiff drawing it's a real bottle job from Fulham, particularly given their excellent recent form.

The flopped, simply didnt turn up - and honestly - with the fixtures they had I thought they would walk it. Fair play to Cardiff. Theyll get smashed to pieces next year, but what they have achieved this year is remarkable.

If Cardiff are smart they should sack Warnock now. He is the best manager out there at getting a team up, but the way he gets his teams playing is never going to lead to a sustained period in the PL. Any club that wants to get promoted next season should then recruit Warnock as quickly as possible.

Absolutely. He is too good for the Championship, but never been good enough for the Premiership. Wont last the season, they really should be ruthless now...

That said, unless they are willing to spend an absolute ton they are on a hiding to nothing regardless I guess.

Junior hoillet is basically their best player, what can anyone expect of them next season?

Derby vs Fulham playoff

The mighty Huddleston is looking good

Derby one up

Huddleston is brilliant

Hudd had one great season with us. A very talented player but ultimately just not mobile enough. I liked him but I'm not sure he ever really had the drive to make it at the very top. He was getting by on his talent I thought, considerable as it was, but that was not enough.

And honesty I see the same traits and failings in the match tonight. Absolutely devastatingly brilliant in spells but also easily bypassed and not willing to own the match.

I still like him though. I am a sucker for good technique.
