What is very interesting when you look at Modric, VDV, Bale, Berbatov, Keane, Soldado, etc.
Players who either spent a short time here, failed or succeeded, never had an original tie to Spurs, yet the club seems to have infected them, years later responding to social media, admitting to following our results still, or the luka interview.

Yea I think I’d like to give Winks a chance to cement a place in that role, he’s been hampered by injuries this season so far. Although if we move on sissoko (whose played CM this season) for Modric i’d be jubilant, just not sure how much game time you could promise the two?

Sissy has only cameo-ed in CM because of injuries to Winks, Wanyama, Dembele and Alder (affecting Dier). That sort of pressure on one position is quite unprecedented/unlikely to be repeated.
Personally I'm delighted with our 4 CMs (Wanyama, Dier, Dembele and Winks), plus Onomah, TOB and Skipp in the pipeline.
I think Moura has effectively replaced Sissy, and next summer we might bring in a 6th young AM to replace GKN. Personally I wouldn't look for another CM unless there are concerns about Dembele's fitness (which seem to have abated for now) and/or Poch decides Onomah isn't Dembele's heir in waiting (which I still think he is)

I Think Demeble is an interesting question in the summer.
for me he is the player that makes my pants sticky when on form, he is completely unstoppable and the most underrated player in the league.
However this season he has been hit and miss, is this down to the injury? is it getting worse?
If we get a offer in for him I can see us selling.
Which would then open the door to Modric.
