    Ange in or out?

100% agree on all of this. The injuries are the key to all of this IMO…

The Game Is About Glory Podcast

Really enjoyed this one guys and the format change definitely fitted the current situation we find ourselves in. The one area - admittedly you did touch on - I think we need to explore / unpack a bit more is all these injuries we’re currently dealing with. VdV, Odobert, Son, Davies...

***** OMT TOTTENHAM VS CHELSKI *****

I think one of the biggest problems we have is just that the ball doesn’t stick up top which means it’s constantly coming back. You look at Sancho and Neto and Johnson / Werner and Son and it’s night and day different. A developed Moore could make the difference here as the ball sticks to him...

    Ange in or out?

I think there’s something in that. We’ve all laughed at Chelsea, for any number of valid reasons, but I think the way football’s going at the top end, you’re going to need a squad like theirs of at least 30 to manage all the games and therefore ensuing injuries.

    Ange in or out?

Yes of course. They’re decent, well oiled teams that will punish you if you drop so much as 5% in performance levels. Another question - Iraola has been there as long as Ange. Why are Bournemouth performing more consistently than us?

    Ange in or out?

In. More that I think we need to trust the process now we’ve committed to it than anything else. But I’m increasingly fed up with these performances against ‘lesser’ teams. GHod, if I was playing against these lot on a Saturday it would be so easy. I’d be in their ears giving it the ol’ ‘They...

***OMT: Tottenham Hotspur vs. Fulham *** Sunday, December 1, 1:30 pm UK

Son just doesn’t look … right. To me anyway. While I concede he is decline and has been for some time, does anyone else think he’s carrying something like the Conte season? A hernia / groin issue? GHod, this is painful atm. I really can’t fathom the subs, or rather lack thereof today. Mental...

Welcome Ange: To Dare is to Didgeridoo

Thanks for the detailed response mate, that’s all very clear. It’s sparked off some other thinking I’ve had about the make up of the current squad. Eze is an interesting one as I’m just not sure where I see him in an Ange first XI, as I’d see him competing with Deki for that spot in the middle...

Welcome Ange: To Dare is to Didgeridoo

@thfcsteff - just keen to understand what you mean that you hope the manager is ‘properly’ or ‘fully’ supported. I’d be genuinely interested in your definition of these here.

    ***OMT - Tottenham vs Galatasaray***

Finished the first half off and it confirmed my hypothesis that we went to pieces after the second goal. I conducted my own rather unscientific and subjective method of counting ‘unforced errors’ in possession - they trebled from 0-31 mins to 31-45(+3) mins!

    ***OMT - Tottenham vs Galatasaray***

So I’ve just had time to watch through the first 30 mins again and it’s not as bad as I remember. I’m not sure if that’s because I know what’s coming and the tension is lifted, but until Dragu’s double rooster up for the second, I feel we’re more than holding our own, given the circumstances...

I don’t know what’s happened to Hoddle. He’s become unbearable to listen to.

    ***OMT - Tottenham vs Galatasaray***

I think of him as a ‘sunshine’ player. All good when things are going well, useless when they’re not. Maybe a tad unfair, but done little to disprove that today!

    Richarlison

Wouldn’t his fee next summer - taking amortisation into account - be around £20-£24m? He’s surely worth that to someone.

*** OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Aston Villa FC ***

Really impressed how they kept their heads after Villa brickhousing for basically 20 mins after equaliser. Great great win.

***OMT Tottenham Hotspur vs Emirates Marketing Project ***

I echo this last point and please don’t let it put you off. It was so shocking as I’ve never encountered anything like it in 30+ years going to Spurs. I’ve also been punched in the face - unprovoked - in Central London a few years back, so I think that also probably played into why I didn’t...

***OMT Tottenham Hotspur vs Emirates Marketing Project ***

To be honest, in hindsight, it was and that’s why I do feel a bit shaken by it all. He told me he liked ‘Jews, as ‘at least’ they work hard, but he fudging hated ‘Muzzers’ who apparently ‘don’t work’. He didn’t stop to catch breath at all, which made it all the more intense. Luckily, I’ve never...
