    Re: Captain Next Season?

Think back to the days when Juande Ramos would haul him off at half time every game. Imagine if the guy next to you at that point said "that guy. Kaboul. He'll be club captain one day."

    Mind...

    Re: Captain Next Season?

What has been kabouls best game in a spurs shirt? I don't see him being good enough to be our rock vs the likes of Costa or Sturridge. He panics a lot. The one thing Younes needs is the thing he...

    Re: Nacer Chadli

Would be great. 5 played yesterday right? Just Paulinho and Soldado not playing. Probably the two most established ones!

    Re: Emmanuel Adebayor

I think this is another myth for me. He has good and bad games like anyone else. Some days he and others can appear unplayable. Other days not so much. Part of the reason they are playing at Spurs...

    Re: Nacer Chadli

That's a fair point. Chadli has got something. I've always thought that. The Benfica away game really changed a few people's mind on the guy. he has started scoring. Eriksen, we know can score. Now...
  7. Re: Just back from the Stadium of Light / Thoughts on the game post Sunderland

Hope you don't mind Paxton, I just added to your title (not trying to hijack the thread - but I will anyway :) )

The season really is back in full swing now. Especially now that I'm reading some...

    Re: Nacer Chadli

Yep Dempsey had character. I remember I thought the guy was just outright awful at times (technically). And then suddenly he'd pop up with an invaluable goal. And he did it against big clubs. Strong...

    Re: Nacer Chadli

Doing exactly what us needed of the three behind the front man. We need goals from Chadli, Eriksen and Lamela. Hopefully Lamela gets his first soon. His confidence is growing.

    But Chadli really...

Wow how bad is this QPR side. Simply awful. No pace at all. Harry has put together a team of has beens

Re: OMT: Tottenham Hotspur vs Sunderland AFC

Over the past few seasons I actually think we've really improved our mentality especially against sides like Sunderland. We have won 2-1 so many times against the like of Stoke and Sunderland.
  13. Re: Match Ratings v Sunderland 13/09/14

I like Vlad but he had some brainless moments out there today. So much unnecessary risk.

Re: OMT: Tottenham Hotspur vs Sunderland AFC

Defensive errors remain a consistency from last season. But some real progression out there on the whole.

Re: OMT: Tottenham Hotspur vs Sunderland AFC

Saw a lot of progress from us out there today, also still a lot to work on. Good performance on the whole. You have to look at the performances in relation to what we saw under AVB and Sherwood....

Re: OMT: Tottenham Hotspur vs Sunderland AFC

Can't believe we're not winning that. Never been so dominant
  18. Sticky: Re: The Official 2014/15 Premier League Thread

Scum could easily win this now
  19. Sticky: Re: The Official 2014/15 Premier League Thread

Hmmm I know I always say Wilshere is overrated but that was a great goal
  20. Sticky: Re: The Official 2014/15 Premier League Thread

Don't like to say it but Walcott would make a huge difference to Arsenal. I think he and/or Oxlade-Chamberlain should always start. C***s
  21. Sticky: Re: The Official 2014/15 Premier League Thread

We'd cave so easily to that early Arsenal pressure. I hope the new a Spurs morph into a side who actually can defend.

Re: OMT: Tottenham Hotspur vs Sunderland AFC

I think what Allen did was simulation. Should have been booked. If we are saying you can't touch a player in the box then the game is a joke. Did he tug him clearly? no. I think it was an awful...

I don't think Naughton is suspended according to the fa suspension list.
