    Re: Ryan Mason

He'd come back in a flash, he never wanted to leave and still loves us.

Our Academy players have better touch and more heart and more understanding of the game than the expensive replacements...

    Re: Vlad Chiriches

I didn't think he did very well; as usual he rushes forwards when he shouldn't. He had nobody down his side for 40 minutes, of course he looked comfortable!

Can't wait for Walker to get fully fit...

Would be good in space out wide, or on the break... but in the middle he just runs smack into trouble all the time. Does he think that Curtis Davies and Michael Dawson will evaporate in the rain? ...

    Re: Roberto Soldado

Seeing either playing wasting oxygen and passes up top makes me sad, I would rather play 451 or 460 or 820 than play Soldado and Adebayor.

We have 17 tricksters, perhaps 460 would result in width...

Re: ***** OMT TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR vs. Hull City ********

That was my first reaction... but then I was thinking if I was in Lennon's shoes I'd be very frustrated about not getting a game when we play with zero width... I can see why he would be getting the...

You know the last couple of seasons when Torres was lumbering around up front for Cheat$ki?

His confidence was shot, he never got it back. He just kept putting himself about and tentatively...

    Re: Ryan Mason

This this this! I was sat there thinking that our best 3 midfielders could be Mason, Bentaleb and er... blimey... anyone really, perhaps Stambouli because nobody has seen him play much... certainly...
  8. Re: ***** OMT TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR vs. Hull City ********

It is clearer from the other angle.

Mason's right leg is off the floor so it is OK when it gets hit; his left leg is planted so when Livermore catches his left ankle it rolls over painfully.
  9. Re: ***** OMT TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR vs. Hull City ********

Mason was excellent, always with a picture in his head, as soon as he gets the ball he pops it off to someone in space, nearly always a forwards pass.

Compare that to all the other players who...
  10. Re: ***** OMT TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR vs. Hull City ********

    Rubbish performance today.

Eriksen, Kane and Mason are the only 3 that understand football, the rest can be sold with no big loss.
  11. Re: ***** OMT TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR vs. Hull City ********

    Even with 11v10.

Vlad is on. We will lose. SRF.

Kat Law and Martin Cloake were on The Fighting Co.ck podcast last week, talking about much of the issues above, prior to the board to board meeting.

They are still keen for everyone to pool their...

    Re: Transfer Rumour Thread

Never heard of him. I'm sure Spurs would soon turn him into a 3 goal a season striker with a host of fluffed chances and sub appearances.

I assume Berahino et al would score 37 in 19 in a league...

Sounds like Spurs, stretch the play but only play through the middle yet still be wide open to attack, or a ball over the top, or down the channel, or anything really.

    This next performance is...

I think if every player is fighting tooth and nail and he has a good midfield shielding him, he too will fight tooth and nail and will be a brilliant signing for Utd.

  22. Re: ***** OMT TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR vs. Hull City ********

Hull play 3 big centre backs, so I wonder if Poch will adapt?

Agreed. Bale talks about Redknapp and AVB in the Telegraph in a few days, so you will soon hear from the horse's mouth what influence those two 'coaches' had on him.
