    Re: Leeds In Financial Meltdown

They got exactly what they deserved, as did Cheatski.

Oh no, hang on... Cheatski changed the name of the club, defaulted on their creditors, used allegedly corrupt money to finance a billion pound...

It was interesting watching Eng U21 vs Fra U21 because Kane finished 2 in 2 minutes, very nice, not the most mobile... whereas France were very mobile and rangey, typical African athleticism charging...

    Re: Rail travel price rise

Depends where from, isn't it something like 40+ from Reading? Just to get stuck somewhere, unable to do anything about it, rendered more impotent than Roberto Soldado.

    Re: Transfer Rumour Thread

Doesn't sound good at all. There are 100 reasons not to sign a player so you can never be 100% sure... but that is quite a big reason to steer clear.

Brings to mind images of him going out late...
  9. Re: Official - Paul Mitchell has joined the Club as Head of Recruitment and Analysis

    Agreed.

We can't outspend 4 clubs. But we can identify some cracking players and get more bang for buck than we currently do.

We've spent a lot of money on the wrong players in the last 10...

    Umm... no.

Clearly Lamela was running off the pitch and the 4th official was holding up his number 11.

  13. Re: ***** OMT TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR vs. Hull City ********

Yes the ref clearly saw it. But 3 Spurs players were right next to Mason and none of them queried it, none of them said or did a thing, they just played on as they had possession and looked to move...

No way, you might get muddy shoes that way. I assume they are examining video evidence as we speak, plus searching this thread for 'fire' and 'torch' (see posts from Sept 10th for instance)

I agree, although note that he couldn't come off as we'd made 3 subs so he had to soldier on, and he took umbrage after the game at the implication he was a kid, he said he was a "23 year old man" so...

I'm watching it again, just noticed when Kane went up for a header with Thudd... his fingers brushed Thudd's mouth/chin area and Thudd writhed on the floor in agony holding his forehead/eyes. Sly.

    Re: Roberto Soldado

Seeing either playing wasting oxygen and passes up top makes me sad, I would rather play 451 or 460 or 820 than play Soldado and Adebayor.
