    Re: Victoria Coren Mitchell

It's good to see some really intelligent women getting exposure on TV...

Although it is mainly because they look attractive and mostly I'm wondering which one would win in a naked jelly-wrestling...

    Re: Next Spurs Manager v.2

Amen sister, the new boss will be gone within 18 months, whether because he is sacked or headhunted or gets a random disease, there is no way Spurs will settle down and keep a manager for years on...

Yeah just a bit slower. I think it is genuine, although it might be perception because of him always having his mouth open like a zombie Phil Neville.

For me he looks a bit Norwich, a bit Villa,...

    Re: Harry Kane

Kane is still a bit "lumbering" but he clearly has some talent and is on a good streak of goals.
His lack of pace is a big drawback; if a defender knows an attacker is slow he doesn't need to worry...

Re: Other Premier League Matches Thread

Thanks brainy, good list. Last year everyone was going crazy for keepers Krul and Vorm but I've seen a lot less chat about those guys this year.
Before that we were linked with lanky centre backs...

Sticky: Re: Other Premier League Matches Thread

Altidore trod on Azpilicueta's leg... but Azpilicueta did slide in to put his leg "under" Altidore's foot... bit of a strange one really. That happened with a couple of other penalties yesterday,...

Is there a thread for potential transfer targets?

I feel our best bet is to get players with Premiership experience, preferably foreign (better technique generally), probably from lower clubs that...

    Agreed

Tottenham's win on Saturday was soured somewhat by comments on Twitter from midfielder Sandro, who reacted to his omission from Sherwood's matchday squad by revealing he was not injured....

Lennon should aim for the defenders...
At present he aims for the strikers and hits the defence every time

I agree he has had his chances and we need better. I would rather play Walker, Sigg,...

Re: Tim Sherwood - Head Coach

Great post Mr Butter. Mourinho took off his dribblers, put on the big lads and used Terry and Cahill to launch it into the box.

Suddenly they scored, after hours of fan.nying around being clever...
