    My mate has just told me.

    "In the last day of the January transfer window, Quaresma was at Spurs having a medical. Apparently, we struck a deal with them. They could have Quaresma, only if we were allowed to sign Joe Cole in the Summer."

    This guy also told me about Tony Adams being sacked about three days before it was announced, and also told me about Palacios before he joined aswell. So, he knows his stuff.

    Joe Cole is signing a new contract at Chelsea :(
    Harry wants Bellamy but Levy won't do it :)
    None of Madrid lot are interested, tried very hard with Robben & Huntelaar but no luck
    Ashley Young very unlikely, Villa won't sell

    And finally, Townsend & Rose are very highly rated, may well be with the first team next season if an ideal loan offer does not arrive.

    not sure if these are opinions or a conversation hes had with someone. seems a lot of info to me told though so

      Left mids: We were planning to buy Downing in the summer for around 12 million, with our other option being Bastos, as widely reported, for around 8 million. However, with Downing's injury, 'Arry decided he wasn't worth the money. Meanwhile, the Bastos price rose a lot when Everton became interested (no idea if they still are) so we didn't want to pay. But then Boro reduced the price of Downing to 8 mil, and Downing said he would accept less money (around 35 grand a week rather than 45) which made him a better option, but 'Arry is keeping him as backup to Joe Cole, because it appears he is now possibly available. Young was mentioned by me but dismissed.

      Forwards: Apparently Baros' name is being thrown around a bit as a tall and cheaper option. He didn't have a lot to say about the others, but did mention that we looked like being priced out of Crouch. He also suggested that the Ruud deal could well be on, but that interest from Liverpool is there, believe it or not. Also said Berg was an option, but unlikely because of the price they are asking for. I know no more.

      DM: Apparently we are interested in Muamba from Bolton. As well as this, the Cana deal appears to be off - we have been priced out of it but NOT by price but wages... Cana wants about 90 grand a week which we can't afford.

      Defenders: 'Arry likes Dawson but doesn't want to depend on him. Daws will stay around for at least another year, no chance of him going. We are also apparently looking at a player who can play LB and CB, no idea who he is though.

      Young players: There is a lot of interest in Fabian Delph and Jonjo Shelvey, we are one name interested but refuse to pay over the odds. We are currently looking at a young Swedish defender apparently, no names mentioned. At the moment 'Arry's looking for experience.

      On outgoings: Chimbonda we want to get rid of but he wants to stay in the prem. Several french and Italian teams looking at him. Bentley could be off but, again, depends on the Downing deal - Villa don't want both. There is some interest from abroad but, again, no idea where.

    hmmmm, at least pretend you have seen ribery at the lodge to get us excited Sad

    this current ITK is boring beyond belief

    Backing this story up, received a text from a mate who's mate works in the press office (i know dads dogs, brothers, mum story etc...) but he told me about luka, corluka, berbatov and a couple of others before anyone else got hold of it. Re-iterates exactly what that says and that it should be tied up by friday. Or i wonder if they browse FTL in the press office!?

He is adamant that Ashley Young was there on Monday with his agent. Story is £20m plus Bentley. Might not occur, but he is totally adamant that Young was there

    Bale : Is getting over his injury well and wont be long before back to full fitness and is hoping to get back to form this season and get rid of the stupid curse thats on his head which he is well aware of and it looks like his future with wales is a LW Or CAM where his best performances have been.

    Bellamy : He's asked and no we are not in for him apparently we ended our interest in him when we signed keane if he does move expect west ham or portsmouth or even sunderland for him but dont rule us out
