mams:I try every time i speak to him mate. He dont care about the city, man u thing at all. He just needs to be playing constant, world cup in 2 years
In that case City is a bad idea, who knows what Frank Shinatra is going to do... Very bad business if you ask me (feel free to borrow any of this stuff when you speak to him ).

Hi Guys,
Don't normally write on these things - just read all your ITK Info and then pass it off to friends and family as my own!!! But I thought I'd get on and give my two-pennies worth!
The last I heard from a mate who's been doing some work at Robbie Keane's new place says all the lads at Spurs expect Bentley to be signed and sealed by the end of the week! Apparently the deal is done between the club's and they're just waiting on Bentley himself to sign on the dotted line! That's not to say he might get another offer from elsewhere that turns his head, but there's no harm in hoping. If all us Spurs fans get together and Will this deal to happen I think it's a dead cert! Never underestimate the power of the mind! Lol. Anyone heard he's due to have a medical tomorrow? - That's not ITK, just a rumour I'd heard!
Oh, and by the way - we are to announce the signing of a 'keeper at the same time (believed to be Gomes!!!) Fingers x'd........

Think so.

i think Man City will blow us out of the water with their bid for Bentley........probably 16 million cash up front, plus massive wages for the player. He will be first choice there, playing for a manager who has helped mould his career dramatically up to this point now its time to look elsewhere

After the Modric deal, i thought to myself "wicked, were gonna be signing players like that, silently, noone knowing whats going on, and announcing the deal in the dead of night".
Then we had the GDS saga, where we were waiting for an announcement for a fortnight, and ended up with the biggest waiting thread in the history of the interweb and I thought, "Hmmm maybe its barca effin about and thats why, or maybe he's on his hols".
Now I've realised Modric was a fluke one off and that to sign a good player, we're going to HAVE to spend millions of hours on pointless threads with so called ITK's chucking new info every 5 minutes, debating whether Bentley would join or not. . . IMO transfers are too complex, and probably why these players are so cocky. . I mean, we have to wait for him to fly in and decide. WTF? Just ring the f"cker and ask him "Oi Dave, you wanna join Spurs or do you wanna go sponge off some mental comicbook-villain esque chairman whose throwing money at anyone who mentions the word Citeh?". If the lad isnt interested in joining the puppet show that is Man City, then ring up Blackburn and go "How much do you want for DB? 15m? You're having a giraffe, here's 10, take it or leave it you northern muppet. Thats right, you know it makes sense, here's 3m up front, thje other 7m depending on whether he wins World Player of the Year three times in a row, the middle of the 3 eing accompanied with the European golden boot award"

Apparently villa have told liverpool not to bid for bentley if they still want to get barry!
Like they are in a position to tell Liverpool that. Aston Villa currently have a player who doesn't want to be there and wants to go to one club (and one club only). Not only that but that club are offering £15 - £16 million for him. If Liverpool want (and can afford) Bentley and Barry then they will get them.

spurette:Villa fans are pretty confident that MON will weave his magic and Bentley will go there
but they have a stricter wage structure than us.
I like bentley as a player, but not sure at the price of £15 mill.

I obviously agree with you but that's the bs story going around.
