    We have talked to Madrid about a pack to include:

    Huntelaar, Heinze and Robben according to Marca today. We also discussed RVN.

    Marca say that the three are up for sale and that Robben wants to stay and fight for his place. Huntelaar has other offers, and Heinze also has offers.

    From what I heard they also discussed Sneijeder and Van der Vaart. Marca says we offered 40-50m for the 3 (Huntellar, Heinze and Robben). I heard the same.

    Levy impressed Real with his "honesty" and that he was very well prepared according to my mate. Realare happy to work with us, feel the money is ok and now it's down to the players and their agents. Heinze is least problematic and Huntelaar could be convinced. Robben not gonna happen as it stands.
    And...

    Also...Zokora to Sevilla done.

    Just a little snippet from a member who wishes to remain anonymous.

    Levy is very keen to keep Dervite and not entertaining offers at the moment. DD's agent met with Levy when he was in Madrid last week.

    Definite possbilities.

    Obviously we have to remember we are Spurs and so this calibre of player is hard to impress. However Levy is not holding back, and that we have gone straight in at the deep end in an attempt to get players quickly. Robben is highly unlikely, but Hunts/RVN/Heinze, well never say never eh

    As for Young, he would prefer a move back south, we would be interested, but whether Spurs is his club, well, that's still debateable

    can back up madrid spurs' info—we're really struggling with the Madrid lot and if we get any of these players it will be because no CL team is willing to meet the transfer fees. If none of them change their mind soon, expect Harry to move on as he doesn't want to be waiting till August to sign key players. In terms of Robben, its unlikely but don't take his father's words as gospel—he seems to think he has control over Robben's career, but I was told last night that his comments would more likely encourage Robben to join us than not.

    itk = opti

    site = coys

    tonight

    Joe Cole is 100% top of Harry's wish-list (emphasis on the wish).

    Trouble is Joe is perfectly happy at Chelsea and the only hope we have of doing a deal is if Ancelotti, for whatever reason, decides he doesn't want him.
    I can't see that happening myself, but if - IF - Cole ever thought he was not going to be first choice, he'd deffo consider joining us. The whole "he doesn't like Spurs" thing is tosh by the way.

    Like I say, can't see it happening, but you never know...

    Oh, and another midfielder high on our list is Udinese midfielder Gaetano D'Agostino.

    Peace.

    "Nothin Earth shattering..... but better than nothing !!

    the following is from someone who would know simple as that... I wouldnt bother wasting time posting otherwise...

    Defoe is still Harry's boy.. Had no intention of buying Keane at the start of the window which is why we went for Defoe.. but then Keane became available at last min and they saw it as an opportunity they couldnt miss especially if Defoe were to get injured...

    Dawson is rated by Harry but he doesnt want him to be the senior centre half of any pairing which is why we will be in the market for an experience centre half this summer..

    Pav, Bent and Jenas all off

    Now for the most interesting part... the conversation moved onto Modric... apparantly on the training ground he is out of this world.. Redknapp cant speak highly enough of him ... so much so you can expect our side to be built around him this summer..

    expect a central midfield partner next to Palacios in a similar mould (im guessing this is why we're linked to Brown?) two wingers (lennon and young?) and a lone front man with modric in the hole

    take it or leave it but its as good as it gets "

    [Update 78] The Goat on Comings & Goings

    The Goat is hearing from yet another source that there will soon be a groundhog day departure, possible replacement from the cryptic ramp.

    Young still a possible, don't rule out movement in the opposite direction and only one arrival on the cards from Madrid.

    Evenin' all. A mixed blessing is what I have.

    In conjunction with with a fair few others, a very decent chap, with a pretty splendid track record has stepped up to me and said that Pointy Shouty is doing the off. Word is that both parties within The Lane have pretty much vexated each other, not to mention the allure of the Irish Connection at Soondoorland.

    If true, I'm hurt to be honest. This is second time around that the stupid little knacker has fled from our embrace. I never adored Keane. that much is true, but after this...

    If anyone needs me, my agent & I can be may found whistfully bouncing pennies off a waitress's bottom in Lexington Street. Every cloud and all that...

    I dunno if this should go in here but my 'source' who said Sturridge would come to Chelsea 3 months ago has said Aguero to Chelsea is almost complete, although this has been in the news anyway it just makes it seem more certain IMO.

    Unknown please delete this if it isn't 'proper' enough to go in here.
