Now it has been leaked for around a week and was released in stores yesterday, what do people think of Kid Cudi's album (Man on the Moon: The End of Day).

    http://www.megaupload.com/?d=429E5CHN

I'm a bit of a fanboy so my judgement probably isn't the most objective but I really enjoyed it. It was refreshing for such new work to give such a deep insight into the artist's character. His lack of big names on the record was a good touch too, and I feel he, as per usual, did his own thing rather than rely on his producer, Kanye West, which is once again good to see.

I'd like to know your opinions seeing as this kinda veers away from Hip-Hop into some Hip-Hop, R&B, Electronica, Indie mashup of genres and a lot of what has been posted on here has been old school, classic Hip-Hop. I'd recommend a listen anyway.

    Deep

He's also worked with Jon McClure (from Reverend & The Makers), in a band called Mongrel.

Really? Sweet. I wish I'd got to that. I fucking really "get" OutKast. Every album is a complete re-invention.

Speakerboxxx is very good, I agree. I just love every single song on TLB. Can't skip any of 'em LOL

Haha no probs man. If I'm searching for an album & find it, I generally put it here for others, but also for myself if I'm at work & want to dl it later or something

Anyway, as I've been on the OutKast tip lately, I thought I should add Speakerboxx- http://www.megaupload.com/?d=bdbwddk2

Yeah I was listening to GRODT on the way to work funnily enough, some of the beats are superb. I quite like his flow, Massacre was probably my favourie 50 album though

    in fact

One of my favourite ever songs is actually french hip hop, Inch'Allah by MC Solaar

    I love this track.

    Je me balladais tranquille (yeah)
[i went for a walk ou stroll]
    sur une ile (yeah)
    [on an island]
    sans le moindre style (yeah)
    [without any style]
    La nature est hostile (yeah)
    [nature is hostile]
une femme dit : "Tu tombes pile" (yeah)
[a woman said: "You're comin' right"]
Je suis contre la guerre missile est une bombe (bombe!)
[i'm against the war missile is a bomb]
A contre jour elle a les jambes de la Joconde
[against the light, she has the Joconde's leg]
Comment tu t'appelles ? Je lui riponds De-clau
[what is your name? I reply De-clau]
Elle me dit : "Si t'es fatigue repose toi sur mes lolos"
[she said: "if you are tired rely yourself on my tits"]
L'audade de sa phase, me conduit vers l'extase,
[dawn serenade of her phase, lead me in raptures]
Cette phrase est periphrase, je chevauchais Pegase.
[this sentence is circumlocution, I was astride Pegase]
Puis elle me traite de malpoli,
[then she call me rude individual]
La tradition veut qu'elle fasse la bise a mon zizi
[the tradition decree that she kiss my peter]
Comment faire pour qu'elle gobe que je suis ethnologue
[how will i do so that she believe that i'm ethnologist?]
Que j'etudie, les us, les traditions, les coutumes et les codes
[that i study, u, traditions, customs and codes]
    Relaxe-toi, voila !
    [relax yourself, that's all]
Dans mon carnet de route je consigne tout ca.
[In my route notebook i record all that]
    Entre dans le songe.
    [Enter in the dream]
    (Du paranormal vers le paradoxal)
    [(from paranormal toward paradoxical)]
    Sommeil paradoxal
    [paradoxical dream]
    Entre dans le songe.
    [Enter in the dream]
(Du paranormal vers le paradoxal !)
    [(from paranormal toward paradoxical!)]
