Would you accept arsenal winning the league if

It meant we finished in the top 4 and got champions league. I was asked this last night and said "**** no i would rather cut my **** off and eat it then set fire to myself"
Got some strange looks by the 2 other spurs fans present so i was wondering what others opinons were.

Re: Would you except arsenal winning the league if

Accept.

It's accept damnit. :p

And no, i wouldn't.

Re: Would you except arsenal winning the league if

Yes - I would except if Arsenal won the league.

Yes, I would accept this outcome. Spurs would have achieved their objective and taken a big step towards moving up to the next level. Everything after that doesn't really matter to me. Arsenal winning would be an annoyance but that's all.

And of course there's the possibility that Arsenal win the title and Spurs not qualifying for CL.

I know you can argue that we support Spurs more than we hate the goons but not when it comes to them winning the league. I'd accept them coming second if we were fourth but not winning the league *yuk!*

I'd be happy to settle for that if we finished at least 3rd in the guaranteed entry slot.

Almost this.

Not saying I would be happy, but I could accept, with a grimace, Arsenal winning the League if we finished 2nd. 3rd at a push, but not if we finished 4th.

As long as there was no lasagne gate or dodgy keeper day that had meant that it wasn't us winning the league then yes, I could accept that turn of events...just. It was a very hard decision but ultimately, we want the best for our club and that should be irrespective of what our rivals achieve.
If we finished top 3, with guaranteed CL group stage then that would be a good season for us.

That may be because you mentioned eating your own ****.

Absolutely. Despite an impressive start to the season, top 4 is still our main objective and even 4th place would still mean we finish above 2 from Arsenal, Chelsea, City, United and Liverpool. Not easy. If we achieve our goals and show signs of improvement I honestly couldn't care less what Arsenal are doing.

Does it just apply to this season? If so, then no. We're a young team, missing out this season is not the end of the world and we've proved that we can rebuild and replace anyone who leaves.

If the question is for ever, then undoubtedly yes.

If the question is would I take a guaranteed top 4 now if it meant **** won the league, then hell ****ing **** **** no.

If the question is only a guaranteed top 4 and doesn't take in to account us finishing top 4 anyway. Then no, I'll revise my answer and say that Arsenal can **** off. I was thinking that the question meant that the only way we could finish top 4 would be if Arsenal won the league.

I'm sure that we'll finish top 4 regardless.

I might stomach it if we were a distant 2nd or 3rd, but if we got pipped to the title on the last day due to some bizarre luck on their part then I'm not sure if CL qualification would comfort me all that much.
