We need be more clinical. The chances Lamela and Kane had to today need to go in, otherwise you won't win many games. We also defended poorly from set pieces today and had two players on our right side who were very poor indeed. It's difficult to win when you are practially playing with ten men. Eriksen was by far our best player, but faded late on and was not effective towards the end of the match.

Performances like tonight make me lose faith..........such a spursey display, I dont think any coach in World football can rid of this apathy that shows up!
 
Can't believe we lost that to be honest. They aren't a great side by any means, they aren't poor, but we should really be winning that tonight. We've been anything but clinical this season, wasting really good chances and today it really came back to haunt us. They score two good goals to be fair to them with the lad who came on absolutely terrorising Trippier. It's all in our own hands thankfully. Two home games now become must win.
Positives are the young side again learns (I hope from these european experiences). Anderlecht are a wonderful european opponent and one which means something to us.

I'd like to see some more fight. Alli shows some real bottle. Kane too. Can't wait to see Mason and Bentaleb back. They really have all picked up injuries in such a bad part of the season. I bet we won't have a fully fit squad until we are knocked out of all competitions.

All sides get disappointing results, we can console ourselves that we are having to cope with a lot of injuries at the moment and this is a young side and we are going to get games like that occasionally.
