Victor Wanyama

The guy on Sunday supplement sounded like a typical red top journo - speculating about something he has no idea about. I think it's fairly obvious Wanyama has a knee problem and you'd hope after the Rose situation we handle Vic's better but I won't be listening to a journo's injury assessment.

This was the update on the OS ahead of the Utd game :
Victor Wanyama
Knee

Victor is receiving treatment and continuing to go through rehabilitation, following up with a specialist next week.

So, he hasn't seen the specialist yet so it's a bit premature to be ruling him out for the whole season just yet.
Not that it isn't worrying.

If this is true, a look at our medical team is warranted. Three supposedly innocent injuries become season-ending ones in the space of a year - unless Lamela got everyone hooked on blow and we're just covering up for their bans, this isn't normal.
you saying wanyama got hooked to
On what planet are Wanyama and Barkley in the slightest bit comparable?!? I do wonder if some people have ever even seen Barkley play?!

I would like us to sign Barkley but it’s got absolutely no baring on Wanyama’s fitness.
strong physical guy in the centre who can go forwards. wanyama and dembele are crocked, and dier isn't really good going forwards.

Supposed by whom?

There's the flaw in the medical negligence argument.

It happens to many, if not all teams at some point.

It’s a follow up with the knee specialist. Meaning he’s already met him and he’s now going to have a FOLLOW UP.

IF Wanyama is out for a while, could Onomah do a job there?

Would rather Onomah came back and played in the position he was meant to play in rather then in the one he seems to be playing in at Villa.

We should have tried to get him to N. Forest he would have fitted in well there.

My guess is he'll be back after the international break if he's already doing some light training.

This really is great news if he's able to train (although Rose had moments where he trained before going under the knife with his knee). I would hope someone in our medical team has learned how to read an MRI scan properly by now.
