Toby Alderweireld

Levy may be confident but we don't know what Toby is feeling. Bigger wages elsewhere must be tempting
You'd like to think such a public statement wouldn't be made without full confidence.
(Wishful thinking coming up) : maybe it's already been agreed and the club are just waiting for whatever they consider is the right moment to release the Poch-arm-round-the -shoulder photo.

Toby wants Suited Poch, but the jacket's at the dry-cleaner's. And has been for eight months now.

Give this man whatever he wants, if he really does want to sign a new deal. 150k, 200k, whatever. A season without him would be a grim goddamn season.

He still has a ways to go I think.
But he's getting there - Merry Christmas
Yes if the club is saying mid-Feb or whatever then it is no doubt taking into account the number of weeks needed to build up his strength and get back to something approaching match fitness. Even then it's likely Toby will start from the bench for a couple of games as well as playing alternating games for a period.

So probably best work on the assumption we will not see him back to full match fitness until mid March at best

Who really knows - probably not even Toby ATM

Any word on that new contract? Given he's been out I hope we took the time to do the negotiating, there won't be much time in January if we plan to get some signings in.

The...'blogger' HH (no link attached) is claiming that Alderweireld has now agreed/signed a new deal.
As this is not negative news about Spurs or Levy but he is still posting it, it raises the possibility that it could be true. The guy is a very broken clock, but even they are right occasionally.

Clickerty click.

Don't go there, he regurgitates everyone else's crap and makes out it's his own. Awful being.
