You mean apart from them waffling and trying to suggest they are a use to anything or anybody?

Yes, we answered it a while back.

    Long agendas.

They do very very long agendas.

They're not hurting anyone as far as I can see, so what's the problem?

I come on here to talk to a group of strangers about 1 of my life's passions with like minded people who get it. If people want to do that through a trust good luck to them!

No need to get annoyed about it. If you don't like them just ignore.

They're regularly using up chunks of our club officials' time - that will do some level of damage to the running of the club

I get that some fans can be annoying but it's a small price to pay for giving them a sense of relevance. Not everyone is an idiot and some of the feedback will no doubt be helpful to the club.

Shutting fans out altogether could be counterproductive in the long run.

They do not annoy me in the slightest, they are a irrelevance not only to me but most supporters i meet, and i would be amazed if the club do not think the same.

Then why are none of the non-idiots posing questions or writing up minutes?

Doubt it, the posts are far too legible. I also haven't noticed anyone holding their breath and pounding the floor in a rage because we haven't signed Messi yet.

Agreed. We have a much more realistic standard of knee-jerk here.

The most useful thing I've heard the Trust are doing, is helping fans who have been treated badly at away games, especially in Europe. See the Barcelona incident above, and trouble with entering the stadium at Dortmund a couple of years back.

The following from the THST newsletter is an example of where they work usefully for the club.

For those who won't read that, one significant statement, with the bolded bit for those who have an extremely short attention span:

I would suggest that this is because fans like the idea of healthy eating but when faced with the choice know what they like. Leave the alfalfa wrap to Tristam and Chardonnay down the road.

    Did you meet them yesterday?

I’ve seen some tweets about a drunken meeting

I'm disgusted I can't get a cup of Lapsang souchong tea with either a fair trade chocolate biscuit or a vegan glutton free sandwich, I have to make do with beer and a pie, I've emailed Jeremy Corbyn about this but he told me to "F... off Yid".

Yes - was representing Newcastle United Supporters Trust at the FSA (Football Supporters Association) AGM yesterday and ended up out until very late on the drink with Kat and Martin.
