Most would take their current position for the cup win.

Could have been very different though, they were days from bankruptcy. I doubt any would accept that.
Fortunately for us it was the reverse, Harry saved us when we were staring relegation in the face.
 
Yes, it felt like a certainty the way we were playing under Ramos.
I put a lot of value in differentiating between how things feel and how they are.

Relegation (IMO) was a very, very remote possibility. Clearly at that point a change in manager was needed but Steve Mclaren could have avoided relegation.
 
I've come to this topic very late in the day. I could have saved you all a lot of time by suggesting you go with the Don Revie Leeds United team of the sixties and have done with it.
