I think he was hedging his bets.

For future reference, anybody wanting to see boxing can go to reddit, and in the search box there type 'boxing st.reams' (without the dot) and you will find what you're looking for. I ended up with a Polish feed after the first couple I had went down, boxing is always the trickiest thing to get a good st.ream for.
So what do you all think this would have ended like with a 5 years younger Vlad?

Not sure about that, some of the greatest of all time have been total pr1cks outside of the ring, look at Mayweather as a prime example. For boxing, I tend to set it aside because, in the end, I'm watching two blokes risk their health for my entertainment.
I think Wlad in his prime would have knocked AJ out.

I think he would have enough in him to finish aj in the 6th. But then again, Vlad from five years ago was so cautious that he would have probably just jabbed his way to a safe decision.
