The Official 2018/19 Premier League Thread

The fans (deluded as they are) have already wanted Hughton out for some time. They might end up sacking him just to quell the unrest.

They have won 2 PL games since December, I don’t think that is that deluded.

Them thinking they should be doing much better goes back way longer than that. They were saying the same last season, although they're probably right that Hughton is TOO cautious.

Funny thing is if they do go down, he is the person you would want to be in charge as he has a good record of getting teams out the championship.

The season ticket holders who I know both want to get the next hot thing from europe whoever he maybe.

I have it on good authority(have a contact in the club) that they wanted to appoint Nathan Jones when they sacked Hypia but he did not feel he was ready. After a good spell at Luton and a so so start at Stoke I bet he will be close to the top of the list if Hughton went.

Jeez....they've got some tough fixtures left.

The Amex is packed full of United/Liverpool/Spurs/Arsenal fans no matter what they claim - so they want to be entertained, which is where the delusion comes from I imagine.

However they spent 75 million in the summer and a fair bit on attacking players and play the worst football in the league.

They should be doing a lot better.

They would be mad to swap CH for Jones, but I think CH will be gone in the summer what ever league they are in.

I could see him back at Luton.

That’s right, because....

Nathan Jones, you’ve been gone too long.
