No point in waiting with this thread until the season begins. There are lots of things to discuss, prior to the season kicking off.
Will anyone be able to challenge City for the title?
Who will we face in our first game?
Who will we face in our first home game at New White Hart Lane? Will it be a big 6 team, a newly promoted team or a mid table team?
Top scorer? Can Aguero challenge Kane and Salad?
    Discuss!

Exactly my thoughts as well. I was gonna write it but felt that was probably too much of doom and glom and conspiracy theory.
I don't really want a newly promoted team either, as they normally do well in the beginning. Mind you, we haven't lost to a newly promoted team in donkeys years.

Of course it will be a top team, and based on previous years' fixtures, I predict Chelski, Pool or Manure. Probably Manure if I had to pick one. Then the first NLD at NWHL in November.

Speaking of; I'm guessing there will be extreme demand for that first NWHL home game, but being a member should probably be enough to get a ticket?

There will be over 40k members without a st, fighting for around 5000 tickets. Think one will need a few loyalty points.

No more member tickets than that? That's an awful lot of ST and away fans (you're probably right though, I haven't got a clue) if we think full capacity here. Me not going to a game in four years won't help my chances, probably...

This probably belongs in another thread, but the club have stated that they will cap the number of season tickets at 42000. Then you have 3000 away supporters, and some corporate seats probably, which should leave around 15000 tickets for members and general admission. Or am I missing something?

Loyalty points for members have not mattered earlier, except some Cat A games in the final season at WHL. My educated guess is that they will go back to the first come, first served arrangement of earlier seasons (AKA the Wheel of Death Scheme™). If you are a member you can also team up with season ticket holders you know and buy their seat for games where they are not going themselves. And of course you have the general ticket exchange for season tickets. I think there should be plenty of tickets available for members next season.

I was a bit off in my post about this. There are 42000 ST, around 8000 corporate and 3000 away supporters, then shave off some for segregation, and you are left with 8000-9000 seats. For cup games there will be less, as the away section is/can be larger.

8000 corporate seats?? That's insane! Ok, it will bring us money, but that's a big part of the potential extra atmosphere gone down the drain + of course more tickets for the black market scum to sell for rip off prices to proper fans who aren't ST holders.

A lot of those seats are behind glass and the only atmosphere they generate is the prawn smelling farts, but they pay the player's wages I suppose.

Its the way the game has gone, IF they are fans that want us to buy big and better players then they have to accept the fact that the income from these boxes will help to do that.

Don't you also have to live in the right place to buy some of the other tickets?

2500 matchday tickets set aside for residents of Haringey and 2500 for residents of Enfield.
Interested residents had to register for the scheme by the end of February. They can then buy tickets in the same priority window as Bronze members.

I believe people get atmosphere confused with singing and chanting when your side is winning. I find the atmosphere at games awful at most games, with "fans" being hyper critical of certain players and offensive to opponents and their supporters, some think it's banter but I find it too aggressive and tribal. Much as I'm amused when our rivals fans give them the bird I think all fans feel too entitled and cant accept that sometimes your teams dont play well, nobody loses on purpose, again I think its the money than colours peoples attitude to the players and clubs.
