Post Match interviews

This isn't just to do with the most recent occurance, but in general.

Why are post match interviews had before managers/assistant managers have not had time to watch key events over?

Perhaps people will be able to bring up times that Harry has walked in to a post match interview having deliberately not viewed incidents to avoid having to lie/cover for something that their player has done but off the top of my head I can't think of one.

Arsene is the master of this, if a goal Arsenal conceded was three and a half inches offside he pretty much comes to the interview with an overhead projector and a 50p coin explaining the offside rule, yet if there is an incident the other way it's okay for Arsene to pretty much cover his eyes and use the 8 year old method of if I can't see you, you can't see me laa laa laa laa. It's pathetic.

On to more recent events, Harry used his time in between the end of the match and the interview to ensure that he was right in his interpretation of the events, Platt buried his head in the sand to make ensure the interview was easy going for him and there would be no quotes from him about what essentially (and unfortunately) is one of the key talking points of the game.

Yeah pretty much. Managers will always see what they want to see and miss what they want to miss.

Anyone else noticed how they seem to be obliged to say 'BARCLAYS PREMIER LEAGUE' instead of "the league" or "the premiershp" these days?

It probably shouldnt, but it annoys the crap out of me.

Probably a clause in the sponsership or whatever...

I think during post match interviews managers should be shown key events on a screen as they're talking through it, it would make so much sense...
