Politics, politics, politics (so long and thanks for all the fish)

The old back turning went down well yesterday....not.
Taking the knee would have been funnier

Hong Kong is really showing how pro-democracy activists can confront and authoritarian superstate though. The brexit party should try battering rams and spray paint tomorrow

Maybe they should give their paycheques back. Filthy EU money, right?

Donating them back into the UK public purse, to reduce our net contribution, would be better.

But absolutely they should follow Sinn Fein's example (and not the SNP's) and not pocket it themselves

Yup. That is the outcome of Brexit and the Tory Govt:
A democratically mandated position that Sinn Finn are the example to follow.

What the fudge is going on with your country at the moment? Are you desperately trying to keep up with Merrrica?

The gall of this raving fudging lunatic to lecture Europe on being slaves to an empire?

It's beyond parody. I liked this description of her: "I imagine her, stripped of her privilege, as a poor demented old dear in slippers and bed socks, with her cardi buttoned up wrong, shrieking at pigeons in Tesco’s car park. It’s the only way I can bear to watch her."

This clip doesn't age well either:

Her speech reads like the back of Fintan O'Toole's book. Britain recast from the coloniser to the colonised. Utter delusion is the only way to describe it.
