OMT - ***Tottenham Hotspur vs Watford***

No - the ligament injury is fully healed otherwise he would not be in full training and in the squad. Therefore quite simply there is no risk of him injuring the ligament again as there is no injury to the ligament anymore.

Being fit enough for inclusion in the squad or 90 mins purely centres on his general fitness and condition levels, which would only be compromised by an absence of many many months.

So seeing as there is no injury to the ligament anymore and because his absence from the team was relatively brief and therefore his condition levels will not have been compromised, there is zero risk with playing Kane from the start tomorrow and for most of the game.

It's really quite simple stuff tbh.

I'm talking about match fitness. After a few weeks out, it will take him a little while to regain full match fitness. In the meantime, there is a greater risk of him picking up another injury. Like I said, I cannot see Poch risking him if he is not fully fit but it would be stupid to rush him back and risk losing him for the rest of the season, when we are in the chase for the league and FA cup.

Striker Harry Kane returned to first-team training this week following his ankle issue. Keeper Hugo Lloris is ill and and midfielder Victor Wanyama has a back problem. Another keeper Michel Vorm suffered a knee injury during the 3-1 win over Swansea and is currently undergoing further assessment.

Full-back Danny Rose (knee) is on track for a return to first-team training towards the end of the month.

Antonio Conte doesn't think it's an advantage that Chelsea are playing after Tottenham tomorrow.

"We'll have a good pressure. We must look at ourselves. Our result is the most important thing," he said.

"This race is open. Now I can see two teams in this race, Chelsea and Tottenham, but anything can happen."

Now then Spurs and fantasy league fans...

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino: "It's very good news Harry will be involved again and he's trained well in the last few days.

"I haven't decided yet if he'll be in the starting 11 or on the bench but the good thing is that he's back.

"Harry has fought a lot to get back as soon as possible, like another player would when he's suffered an injury, they always want to be back as soon as possible."

Conte trying to put pressure on us now, knowing the title is theirs to lose.

It will be a monumental failure for Chelski to throw this away.

We have to keep on winning to stay in the title race. But as shown against Swansea, it won't be easy. We have to treat each team with due respect and make use of the chances that we create. We do have an excellent record against Watford, winning 8 and drawing 2 of our last 10 matches against them in all competitions. Hope we will continue that record by beating Watford again here.

The return of Kane from injury will be a welcome boost to us, even if he doesn't start. We did well during Kane's absence with Eriksen, Alli and Son getting our goals. But it will help us greatly to have Kane back as he is our main goal scorer. Janssen came on to inspire us against Swansea. Let's hope he will play well and score for once if he is involved in this match.

Wish Wanyama is back in midfield. His partnership with Dembele offer us more stability and ruthless in midfield, compared to Dier. Also, we need to stop our former player Capoue who has been playing well for Watford since joining them. Without a doubt we need to control the midfield to stop Watford troubling us.

It was disappointing the way we conceded the goal so early against Swansea. Hope our defence will be more alert against Watford. Hope Lloris will be fit to start in goal as I am not convinced of having our third goalie Lopez in any league matches. Will be disappointed if we don't keep the clean sheet in this match.

We are now on a 5 match winning run in the league. Hope we will extend that run by beating Watford. Hope we will turn up with the right team and mentality to get the all-important win.

Any t"e'a"m n'e"w's yet ?

Wish we can have all our injured players back soon. We need to get an early goals against Watford to help us settle down and then go for the second and third goals to kill the game off. Hope we will put up a good performance and get a convincing win over Watford.
