OMT ***Tottenham Hotspur v Watford***

DubaiSpur

Ian Walker
Right, it's been almost six years here and I realized I never actually started an OMT in all that time. In all that time, we've been on an upswing as well, so maybe the two are related and me starting this OMT will doom us to the relegation six months from now.

But I'm halfway to being hammered, so f*ck it. We need something different. I'm something f*cking different. Come on, you c*nts, let's go and f*cking win this.

Not a bad OMT effort IMO.

-----------------Lloris-----------------
Trippier Dier Sanchez Verts Davies
------------Dembele Winks----------
------------Son---------Alli-----------
------------------Kane----------------

Hey Poch, Eriksen needs a fcuking rest. Bring Lamela on at half time if anyone is under-performing.

2-1 Spurs

Lloris
Trippier, Sanchez, Vertonghen, Davies
Dembele, Winks
Lamela, Dele, Son
Kane

Vorm, Foyth, Aurier, Dier, Sissoko, Eriksen, Llorente

So Dier and Eriksen are shattered/woefully out of form and must be dropped. Dele deserves to join them but the alternative is Sissoko and we all got reminded of what a pointless player he is the other night.

It seems his recent decent performances were Sissoko playing out of his skin! Btw Dele is young so let's not dig him out too much but this nonsense of him getting the ball and constantly trying to take someone on/nutmeg them must stop. It comes of 1 in 10! Just pass the ball man and do your thing ghosting into the box.

Lastly imo Poch needs to decide now who he wants in his eleven the following weekend and then do not play any of those players against Apoel.

Will we see a reaction and some big names dropped? Or just more of the same.

Hopefully Lamela is fit enough to start and Son has to start.

Some interesting tidbits from the Guardian's "10 Things to look out for this weekend":

3) Stuttering Spurs may be stung by Hornets
It is more than three decades now since Watford last beat Tottenham in a meaningful match (there was an irrelevant Lee Nogan-inspired League Cup second-leg success at White Hart Lane in 1994, a rambunctious first leg having been lost 6-3) and last season Spurs scored four both home and away. However, not only is this season’s iteration of Watford a considerable improvement on the last, but Mauricio Pochettino’s side arrive at Vicarage Road in a bit of a funk, having followed defeat to Arsenal with a point against West Brom and another loss at Leicester. This should be the period when they hoover up points in preparation for a title tilt, with their 12 opponents between the Arsenal game on 18 November and the visit of Manchester United on 31 January including only one member of last season’s final top six, but so far they have failed to do so. Pochettino says fatigue is to blame and that “we need to rest players”; six of his squad have played at least 1,500 minutes of first-team football so far this season, compared with four at Chelsea, three at Manchester United and nobody at Arsenal. The last time Spurs encountered Saturday’s referee, Martin Atkinson was when he took charge of their 4-2 FA Cup semi-final defeat to Chelsea last season. He last oversaw a Tottenham league defeat in 2012; Watford have lost seven of their last 10 Atkinson-officiated games. Simon Burnton

Tough game... but time we show what we're about. Playing Watford so Trippier will definitely start.

Lloris
Trippier Sanchez Vertonghen Rose
Dier Winks
Alli Eriksen Son
Kane

Subs:
Vorm, Foyth, Davies, Aurier, Lamela, Llorente, Dembele

Next game we try and rest as many as possible (APOEL)
