I am worried that this trend will continue. Have a bad feeling it could be something similar to the league match at Wembley, with Liverpool going 2 goals up early and then holding on until we snatch a late goal to set up a frantic finish.

I am hoping we are focused from the first second. Get to half -time level at worst and I am confident we will win

I’ve resigned myself to them scoring first. It’s how we respond.

Leaving for the Lane in an hour or so. Really praying its going to be a memorable night. We have already created our own bit of club history reaching our first CL/European Cup final.
2 wishes in life. To see Spurs lift either the League or CL trophy and become a Grandad.

Daughter has got less than 5 months to go, so come on Spurs, complete the double and give me both wishes in the same year

According to the Grauniad article, Poch has been mind feckin the squad for weeks now with a motivational coach. Which has involved among other things walking on hot coals and using their necks to break arrows and other psycho brick like that. So COYS!!

They really are the scum of the earth.

They wonder why bad things happen to them

I've also had my first tommy tank of the day if that helps anyone feel more comfortable in doing so.

Spare a thought for those spurs fans fasting during Ramadan today- no food or drink till quarter to ten tonight?!?!?!

I think this is our year. Ajax hit the post twice in two legs ffs- we were down and out. Take it from me the footballing gods have been smiling on us in the CL this season.

I like Klopp a lot, he really has reinvigorated Pool, but he’s also had the funds to make changes.

what Poch has done has been nothing short of a miracle with the lack of spending and small squad of players and injuries. Any other team losing their goal scoring machine would’ve folded. Not Poch’s Spurs no more, not this group of players.

What ever happened in the past has happened- this is our time now lads, this is the time to believe, this is 90 minutes where nothing else matters but what you do together out there on the pitch.

You are warriors who have had to fight and fight and fight- you must keep on fighting for one last time, leave everything on the pitch.

You’re a long time retired and chances like this don’t come along very often. This is not for you or the fans, this is the moment you write your selves into history. This is the moment everyone will remember, the first time Spurs won the champions league. Come on you spurs.

    Concur.

We have a habit of shooting ourselves in the foot early on in these games and making the task harder.

Even if a case of parking the bus for the first 20/25 minutes

Holding back until 4.00pm before hitting the cider as I don’t want to go too early on the booze. This is the slowest day ever though.

So I had this really weird dream.
Next June, we'll be in the Champions League final. Ridiculous I know.

Happy August everyone, enjoy the season. Did we sign anyone yet?
