This match will be all about quality and experience of Liverpool against our hard work and luck.

I couldn't disagree more. Our first 11 is just as good as theirs. The difference, this season, being that ours has barely played. Of course we will need to work hard to earn the right to play but so will Liverpool. I think that it is right that Liverpool go into the final as favourites but I don't think that there is much between us.

The full backs are miles better than ours and the CM options are better as well.

Forward wise I would say we edge it if everyone is on form

On form I would be close to agreeing with you.

The problem this season hasn't just been the injuries to players in our starting eleven, but also their form when playing. People might disagree on who to include in a list of first eleven players that have at various times shown extended runs of poor form, but most would agree it's more than one or two players.

If we can get all or most of our best eleven on the pitch, and if we can get them performing at a very good level I think it will be a fairly close game. Though even a close game can have big swings in the result.

I think the probability of Liverpool getting their best eleven on the pitch performing near their best is significantly higher. They've showed a lot more consistency this season than us. I make them favourites by a decent margin, but that's alright.

If Kane starts, they will target his ankle all game. There is also a danger he will try to ease himself in, and they will be at it from the off. I would start him on the bench, and bring him on second half (the llorente role), and if it gets to penalties, he's on the pitch.
Imo.

You cheeky fudger.

I got talking with the guy that has moved in right next door to us today, and it turns out he's a massive yid! He's gonna join me and my mates to the pub on Saturday. So fudging nice to finally have a fellow parent in our neighborhood that i don't have talk home improvements or career choices with. :p

Around a bunch of Dipper fans today and they’re giving it loads.

“Going to the stadium to watch Spurs lose. What are you thinking?”

“Do Spurs know there are no away goals in the final?”

“Big event for you but we’re used to getting there so not so much for us.”

Biting my tongue a bit but if we beat them, I’m rubbing their fudging noses in it big time.

I hope Klopp and the players have the same attitude and approach to the game!

The main two advantages which Liverpool have had over us this season are:

1) they've had more depth in certain positions
2) we've had a lot more injuries than them during the season

In a one-off game next week, the above two factors are a lot less relevant, verging on irrelevant. I'm not saying that the gap between us would have been zero without these two, but it would have been a darn sight closer. They've been stronger at full-back but in most other positions its marginal who is stronger

Disagree. I think this seasons injury struggles on our side have formed this opinion and to be honest Sissoko has had the best season out of all the CM’s between the two clubs.

Not sure I agree. Wijnaldum has been quality for them this season, fabinho has been good, Henderson gets a lot of stick on here but is a very decent player. Milner has also played consistently well.

3) they have the momentum. Lost only one of their last 23 games in all comps (and that away to Barcelona). We've lost 13 of our last 29 - including 5 of our last 8.
