The current mess is going to take some sorting out. We need to rebuild our defensive unit. Could do with replacing Toby, Verts, Davies, possibly Aurier. that will take a while, both to get the right players and to bed them in.

Why?

He was as crap as everybody else on the ball. Yes he shows desire, yes he shows workrate but on the ball when it comes down to it he was equally useless as everybody else. Gave the ball away regularly and just poor quaity passes in general.
 
We have some brain dead footballers.

We just score, Moura gets the ball surrounded by 4 and instead of passing it tried to take them all on and loses it.

Winks charging forwarded into no mans lands as well

Disjointed and heartless performance. Disappointed. I'm writing it off as a work in progress. We'll get better eventually.

Will be particularly difficult given we’ve just sorted Toby with a lovely new contract.

because if we can’t outplay our opposition we have to at least out fight them.

he is the biggest fighter in our squad, we need him out there!
 
Disgusting performance. Absolutely disgusting. We didn't trouble their keeper and their keeper, to quote Alan Hansen, is a dodge pot. Awful going forward.

Jose set us up wrong. Again. Chelsea struggle at home. Bournemouth fudging beat them there and we are out there playing with fear. It's not good enough. Same during the week. Not good enough.

There are a lot of mitigating circumstances with individuals. Kane, Son, Sissoko out. Ndombele not at it. Played mid week. But the basic set up of the team is wrong.

Thought Sanchez, Hugo, Davies, Bergwijn and Lamela were our best players. Toby was horrible, Winks poor, Ndombele lazy and Jan embarrassing.

Jose needs time but the last two games have been pretty fudging dire.
