The door is really open for him now the way Dembele and Wanyama have been struggling of late.

I saw him against Barca this summer and he was REALLY good. Great to see a young lad get his cherry popped.

Wanyama looks like he's had 5 pints eveytime he plays now, doesn't seem to see opposition players and falls over regularly!

He was unreal in that game but right back down to ordinary in the pre-season friendly 1-4 defeat to Girona.

Poch insists on one drunk in the starting 11 whenever he can. With Hugo not on, it's Big Vic time. 5 pints of Tusker before each and every game.

Skipp looks like he is going to be the next player to push on for us, reminds me of how at home Winks looked when he first came on the scene, not flustered or overawed by the occasion.

If I was going to spend a good chunk of my early career haggling with Daniel Levy over contracts, I wouldn't trust anyone he'd appointed to teach me economics.

Fair play to the lad. Can't be easy focusing on your A-Levels when you have a cup-game against rivals on your mind that night.

Christ I know i can't concentrate at work when Spurs have a big game on!!

Also, good to see form those subjects he appears to have his head screwed on for something if the footy career doesn't work out.

The boy has looked very good to me in youth games, this is a massive step up and I hope he can take the opportunity if it comes. People should not expect too much from him this early in his career, in the past too much has been said about Edwards, Onomah, CCV etc, just let the boy develop without all the hype.

When will we see more game time for the little green faced legend?

Probably needs a home FA Cup 3rd round tie against lower league strugglers early January.

He’s already played against West Ham, so he’s ticked that box really.
