Was just about to post those.

I thought Skipp played well tonight, especially first half. Pleased for him as it's seemed for a while that he was going the KWP route of sticking around without getting much of a chance to play. I think he earned another start on Saturday.

We actually have a midfielder in the squad who has some defensive nous and ability.

    Should've been in sooner.

I was writing Skipp off. I thought he wasn’t good enough for us. Last night’s performance impressed me and has made me rethink. He should start against Burnley, he deserves to and let’s see what happens from there.

Yup this is the thing I most like about him. Get him in the team, he seems by far our best chance for a balanced midfield pairing.

After Lo Celso, Winks has been our best performer these last couple of months. I'd start Winks, Lo Celso and Skipp, there is a good balance there.

Surely if your starting skipp you could start Ndombele and Lo Celso although Lo Celso looked dead on his feet

Maybe when Ndombele is up to speed but he is too much of a passenger for me at the moment. Winks passing has been a lot more positive under Mourinho and he's been performing well.

I think that the issue in the team is primarily confidence. We've played well in patches these last couple of games, the problem is that our heads drop as soon as the tide turns against us.
