I think what blew me away the most when I first got the look around in January was just how much they have packed into such a tight footprint. It is genuinely the Swiss army knife of stadia, and is designed to be working 24 hours a day 7 days a week if possible. An incredible piece of work. I am interested to see how it stands up to hard use, and I suspect the key to it remaining tip top is constant small preventative maintenance rather than waiting for something to go wrong.

Cheesy but I quite like that Bayern one, I assume that's what the hired in system can do. Surprised we didn't build one in if we plan to do concerts and boxing etc.

Anybody know if you can take refillable water bottles into the ground and use the water stations to top them up ??

Anything you take must be In a clear plastic bag ... I'm sure levy wouldn't mind if you went to the spurs shop spent 50 on a water bottle ... he would laugh as I've not seen any water stations ... you will have to buy the bottled water too hahah.

    Cue the levy laughing pic

They got water stations I seen them. Thought they were massively pompous personally. I only ever used one once on holiday in Europe during a heatwave. Good way of getting aids if you ask me looking at some of the people that use them.

I miss WHL much prefer it to the new ground. Hope the new gaff is making us enough money to buy a new defence and hire a coach who knows what he is doing.

    From the Trust :
    • Availability and use of free water - the stadium app clearly shows where drinks fountains are located and Rachel was assured that fans can bring small empty plastic bottles into the stadium, minus the lids, to be filled at these fountains. The email sent for the match against Southampton states that supporters cannot bring in plastic bottles of a certain size with lids. Again, please feed back on this in our next survey.

Most people do not know their rights to free drinking water from businesses and public buildings, a survey says.

The Keep Britain Tidy poll says only 25% of the public know when they can ask for water for free - while 71% feel awkward asking for water from venues if they are not a customer.

So when can you ask for a free glass of water, and when can't you?

    Licensed premises

All licensed premises in England and Wales are required by law to provide "free potable water" to their customers upon request.

This means pubs, bars, nightclubs, cafes, restaurants, takeaway food and drink outlets, cinemas, theatres, and even village and community halls - so long as they are authorised to serve alcohol.

However, these premises can charge people for the use of a glass - or their service - when serving the "free" tap water.

    Unlicensed premises

Unlicensed premises in the UK do not have to legally supply free drinking water.

So, provided they are unlicensed, this includes sports stadiums, leisure centres, swimming pools, health clubs, tourists attractions, theatres, cinemas and beauty salons.

You may get lucky but most stewards will not allow refillable bottles.
Most but not all will allow you to take in a disposable water bottle provided you empty it and remove the lid (so carry a spare in your pocket! :D)

On one occasion when I got caught out I picked up a discarded plastic beer mug once inside from one of the bars - there's usually plenty around - gave it a rinse at one of the water stations then filled it. Voila!

Went on stadium tour today, great experience and one everyone should go on to see behind the scenes. Great to see the look on my grandson faces as he lead a group out of the tunnel to the playing area. The changing rooms are fantastic. One of the most pleasing things for me was as we were walking down one of the corridors there were photos of our players, teams and stadium throughout the years which we were told were selected by Daniel Levy and there amongst them was a picture of an old fan with his wooden rattle who use to sit 5 or 6 rows in front of us in the Paxton, he always use to stand up and shout "Bet they got one of these" before giving it a go. Took me back to what proper football was like.

I did the tour this morning with my dad

Thought it was absolutely brilliant, was surprised we didn't see the trophy room and also the brewery though
Well worth it though, it's huge from pitch side

Liked the part about Chas & Dave being played in the dressing room if we win and how Sissoko always asks for Rabbit haha

Interesting about the warm up room next to the home dressing room and them doing yoga and stretching before games

Also there are 1,300 LG HD tv's in the stadium and before every CL game somebody has to go and stick a bit a tape on the LG sign on every one as they are not an official CL plaster

Although I’ve been to all the games at NWHL I can’t seem to remember whether we still play any/all of these prior to matches:

I'm not surprised you can't remember, since you can't remember what you wrote two minutes ago.

I don’t normally make weekend games but taking a mate to the Sheffield United game next Saturday. Was thinking of sticking around post game for a pint. I assume the goal line bar is open post game. I’m sitting in north upper. Does it normally get full after games? If so are the dispensary and the white hart open on level 5 post game?
