I went over the FAQ on the new stadium site, and saw this. Really happy to see it, and hope they get this one sorted out well. 17k tier means nothing if it doesn't group together a bunch of fans willing to sing.

Fan groups

We will be working with fan groups to see how we can co-locate fan groupings together within the new stadium rather than split them up. We will provide information for interested supporters as we move closer to stadium completion.

Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy says he is not sure whether this will be the club's final season at White Hart Lane.

The Premier League match against Manchester United on May 13 was expected to be the final game at 118-year-old stadium, but the club could still play one more season at the ground before it is demolished.

Last Thursday Tottenham received permission from Brent Council to host 27 games at a full capacity of 90,000 at Wembley Stadium next season.

After one season at Wembley, the plan had been to move into their new stadium - which is taking shape around the existing ground - for the 2018/19 season.

In a statement released today with Tottenham's accounts, Levy said: "We continue to focus on ensuring that the future of the club is protected at all times and therefore, whilst everyone is eager to know if this is our last season at the Lane, we shall only make the decision to decommission our historic White Hart Lane when we have greater certainty on the delivery of the new stadium."

The accounts for the year ending June 30, 2016 - covering a season in which Spurs finished third in the Premier League - show record revenue of £209.8m and a profit of £33m after tax.

They also show the waiting list for season tickets has grown to 63,200, underlining the need to move into a larger stadium.

Spurs could play their fixtures at Wembley next campaign, having played their European fixtures at the national stadium earlier this year

Tottenham say the progress of the building of their new ground is being "closely monitored" and the project has delivered 900 jobs across a variety of sectors.

Construction is also underway of a 46-bedroom "player accommodation facility", which is expected to open early next year at the club's training ground in Enfield.

Boy I hope this is our last season. Spending a small fortune to fly over to say goodbye to the Lane, will be tinkled off if I have to do it again next year (though a nice excuse for another trip.)

Hopefully it's just Levy playing some games. I'm confident it is.

I don't get it....

It's an urban legend that goes something like this:

Steed Malbranque left Fulham because Coleman and a number of players made a habit of taking the tinkle out of him having a tiny rooster. This existing rumour was extended to him having had a penis enlargement when he spent the first few months of his Spurs career out after having a "groin operation".

Northumberland Development Project (NDP) Update

The stadium build has now reached Level 6; the NFL has engaged in the design of its dedicated areas; the groundworks for the Tottenham Experience Museum and Retail store are underway along with restoration works to Percy House, the future High Road home for the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation.

The progress of the construction programme and the delivery timetable for the new stadium and associated public sector infrastructure works – both of which are paramount before any decision will be made on the decommissioning of White Hart Lane – are being closely monitored.

The stadium project continues to drive benefits to the local area. We have now delivered more than 900 jobs across many different sectors of employment.

We shall continue to provide updates as the scheme progresses.

The Training Centre

Construction is well under way on the player accommodation facility for the First Team and Academy, scheduled for opening in early 2018. When complete, this 46-bedroom facility will deliver an unparalleled environment for player rest and rehabilitation, further enhancing what is widely recognised as one of the best Training Centres in Europe.

Outlook

Chairman, Daniel Levy, said: "This financial period saw record revenues and the Club's highest placed finish in the Premier League.

"There was also substantial progress on capital projects with schemes underway at both the new stadium site and our Training Centre.

“We have run this Club on a financially secure basis for the past 16 years, whilst remaining ambitious and with a vision for its future growth and success.

“We continue to focus on ensuring that the future of the Club is protected at all times and therefore, whilst everyone is eager to know if this is our last season at the Lane, we shall only make the decision to decommission our historic White Hart Lane when we have greater certainty on the delivery of the new stadium.

“Our performances on the pitch and the sight of our new stadium taking shape signifies an exciting future. As we move forward with the challenges ahead, I firmly believe that the positive outlook, unity and togetherness across the Club, the team and the fans means we can look forward with optimism."

Levy saying nothing that he has not said before, nothing new to see.

edit, my post was in reference to the earlier one about where we play next season not to yours Jordy.

We all know the first we'll know for definite that his is our last season at the current lane is when it starts to get torn down. Followed a day or two later with an announcement saying it has started.
