Moussa Sissoko

Without a doubt we miss Kane and Son more, but anyone who thinks we have not missed Sissoko at this present time is looking at a different game then me.
To me the Winks and Lo Celso partnership has been the best we've had this season, by some distance. Maybe Sissoko would have made an even better partner for Lo Celso? Personally I have my doubts.

We've missed him as I an option, for rotation, impact, give others a breather. He could have had a positive impact, that I have no doubts about.

Bringing up stats to show his importance that just coincidentally have us without Son and Kane for a good chunk of one side of the comparison and not the other. This is what gives stats a bad name.

Be careful they are fans on here who swear by them. As for Sissoko he is what he is but we could have done with him over the last couple months if only to stop Winks etc being run into the ground.

Out of possession yes, in possession no - 28 attempted passes (vs Winks’ 55 and Kane’s 25) is diabolical for a central midfielder. He’s clearly not lazy, so maybe his lack of trying to get on the ball is a confidence thing?
Defence splitting passes certainly ain’t his forte but Sissoko also having to cover for Aurier, whilst Winks has the rather more defensively sound Davies on his flank.

Because he's crap on the ball and he knows it.

Yeah he was awful on the ball and didn’t impose himself on the game at all but he did some very good stuff second half. If we’re going to play proper football, he shouldn’t be in the team because he isn’t a good enough footballer. If we’re going to play puke-ball and get dominated, he can serve a purpose.

Good game and at the moment i do believe he is one of the first names on the team sheet, once we get everyone fit and in form he may not be so.

GLC is our best CM by a country mile. Question is then who is best to play alongside GLC? I dont really rate Sissoko but of the CMs at the club, its him or Skippy as partner for GLC in my view.

Winks, Gedson, Ndombele wouldnt give any balance
