Java Update faffed up my PC

Had a java update to do, it told me to unisntall previous java's which I did, trouble is now loads of stuff on my PC dont work

It says

No JVM could be found on your system
Please define EXE4J_JAVA_HOME to point to an installed 64-bit JDK or JRE or download a JRE from java.com

Help !!!!
