Much talk of either Sissoko or Son as PotS and rightly so but Jan's heroics, allied to his overall consistency, must surely put him in the frame.

Jan's been a big part of our level for last two seasons .. think he's at his prime and it shows ..

The great part is he's absolutely not interested in going anywhere, he's actually said he wants to retire with us (but probably won't because he knows his game will drop before he retires and may need to move on to a slightly lower level).

I said once, we will look back at BMJ's squad with people like Dawson, King, Lennon, Keane, Berbatov as the players that took us from mid table to best of rest. There is a group of players here with Jan, Hugo, Eriksen, Kane, Son that we will hopefully look back on as the players that took as CL regulars and title challengers ..
