I opened up an ISA in his name - HL are pretty good to work with.

Downside is that at 18 he can access it, but to keep it in my name would mean getting taxed. I'm just going to keep quiet about it until he's ready.

At this stage quite high, but mainly overseas and emerging.

I'll treat it like a pension - when he hits 12 I'll drop to medium risk and a couple of years later, low.
 
I put £50 a month into a high rate kids savers account, that is only until Alice is 15 though when It has to be shut

Not sure what I'll do at 15, sure I'll find something
