Hugo Lloris

Interesting interview. He must do a lot behind the scenes to Captain both us and France, could see him being a manager one day.

Looking forward to his nest interview telling us what the rest of the team need to for us to get to the next level..

It was terrible. But also one of the first things you learn at CB is what footed your GK is, so you always play backpasses to his favoured side

Complete revisionist tosh, my friend.

Yeah, no excuse. He had enough time. He just dingdonged about and got caught. I really hope he learns from it because it was beyond unacceptable. I've defended Lloris for years but today was as irate as I've been with a player for GHod knows how long.

for a pass under pressure where a first time hit is needed yes, but Hugo had the ball for about 10 minutes before being closed down, it’s all on him in this case

He got closed down by Ings while moving the ball from his right across to his (kicking) left foot. It was certainly a contributory factor

yes, but he’d already moved it back and forth between either foot about 20 times

also, he wasn’t trying to kick it, he was trying the drag back again, the same thing he did in the WC final

Hugo will be in the East Wing / Pool House / Country Cottage. He has plenty of bonding time during daylight hours, when he should be learning how to kick.

If he was member of a royal family or some aristocrat you might have a point, footballers are normal people who happen to be millionaires and usually show it with extreme bad taste.

Just fudging clear the fudging ball, Hugo. You are not a fudging outfield player - you have the first touch of a brick and the kicking ability of Tiny Tim.

This brick is leading to us conceding chances and goals by the fudging hatful.

Clear it into midfield, and let the team deal with it from there.

Christ. Properly tinkled off with him for that mistake. He made up for it by basically saving us twice in the second half, but...Jesus, *stop* playing it out!

he does it all the time, and it's always putting us in trouble. Someone needs to tell him to just punt it

If we lose the ball after having punted it long at least it's 60 yards away from our goal with a bunch of defenders in between, not 2 fudging yards out!

I do have a point. Lloris was upper-class at birth and has earned millions since. He won't be awake at night with a screaming baby.

Lloris was born on 26 December 1986 in the Mediterranean city of Nice to an upper-class family. His mother was a lawyer and his father is a Monte Carlo-based banker of Spanish (Catalan) descent

This is probably influenced by the fact that his mistake didn't cost us...

Good! Keep being brave. It was the kind of mistake I think we can accept.
