Although, on this particular point Owen is right. Not sure why it's so bad for footballers to say they do things for money.
 
Making a big meal of the fact he thought it was a step down going from Madrid to Saudi Sportswashing Machine, though. Like it wouldn't have been if he'd gone back to Liverpool. Comes across as trying to stir up some sort of publicity-seeking controversy.
 
Imagine the tossfest if Benitez had Saudi Sportswashing Machine in the same position as Bruce has got them? Bruce is playing in front of a half empty stadium as well, whereas Benitez had his cult following in the ground and media.
