What about that Berbatov guy?

Cheeky goal - cheeky bid?

Re: What about that Berbatov guy?

outrageous wasn't it, should be a picture of him in the dictionary next to nonchalant

Re: What about that Berbatov guy?

I see his record at Monaco is 5 in 11. Really is a great player still.

Re: What about that Berbatov guy?

Just insane isn't it?
Tim didn't need him apparently...

](*,) I suppose in hindsight we would not have seen the emergence of Harry Kane, but still think he would have been a more than decent 'cheap' addition to the squad

Re: What about that Berbatov guy?

Nah, those foreign strikers need at least 12 months before they settle in England and start scoring regularly...

Re: What about that Berbatov guy?

Well...I thought I'd watch a minute of that and get on with something else...it's over now and I know it graded the surface. Remember that superb photo of him smoking ***? I hate smoking but he just looked so ****ing cool. I believe the word 'insouciant' was created for him.

What a wonderful, wonderful player...imagine if we could've kept him when we got Luka that summer? Ah well...

One of the greatest we've had, and I suspect that even though he won a title with Utd, he will tell you his enjoyment was never greater than with us...

Imagine last season, Bale on fire with Modric supporting and Berba on top. Lloris, Walker and Verthongen at the back, Sandro in his best form for us...should have been a title winning team that.

Not forgetting Ledley King coming out of retirement, having found a cure for his knee condition... oh and Carrick too...

Re: What about that Berbatov guy?

Of all the things he was good at - and there were plenty - the one I remember the most is just how sublime his touch was.

Still remember that goal at the Valley...

Ah well.

Would be a ridiculously good team. We could've had Harry managing too! 8-[

Surprised to hear Harry criticizing Sandro after the weekend defeat to West Ham. Maybe it was the right decision to sell him as much as it pains me to say that.

Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp has conceded midfielder Sandro is not fit.

The 25 year-old was signed from Tottenham Hotspur for €12.6 million in September, but is yet to complete 90 minutes.

Speaking after Sunday’s 2-0 defeat at West Ham United, Redknapp noted that Sandro is a talented player, but admits he is currently short of fitness.

I've put a lot of faith into Sandro but unfortunately he's had an injury and we need to get him fit,” he said, as reported by Sky Sports.

"When he's fit he's a fantastic player - I had him at Tottenham, he's an excellent player - but, at the moment, he's short of fitness.

"The doctor came to me at half-time and told me he can only play another 15 minutes. I need players who can play 90 minutes.”
