I've just signed up for the 30 day free trial and was wondering over the next few months my rating will be going from fair to excellent so is it worth paying the £14.99 per month?

Does anyone else monitor their credit score this way?

I keep it while I'm applying for mortgages etc then ditch it.

Keep in mind you need to call them to cancel, they won't let you do it online.

I've had an equifax account for a few years now, its £5.99 a month and pretty decent, gives good feedback

Try noddle it's free.

And with experian and Equifax you can get your report for £2. You used to have to wait to receive it in the post but you get a download link in an email from them now...so it's sort of online.

Yes, ALWAYS monitor your credit score, two reasons

1. Important as it affects rates for loans/mortgages/even job applications (done in US). Some bank cards/Credit Cards (American Express) will just give a view to what your score is.
2. Identity theft and/or mistaken reporting, you MUST be on the look out for accounts opened in your name, and/or mistaken debt reported in your name. You could spend years trying to fix those problems if not caught early and reported early. You need a proper credit monitoring solution for that.

The world has changed, managing your credit & identity is critical. Monitor your score monthly and never throw out mail/labels with your full name and address on it (buy and use a shredder).
