Eric Dier

Ha ha. The chance that DL gave them a price at all is laughable. That that price should only be £50million is hysterical.

In the current market, £50m seems bit on the low side given his age, nationality, ability and experience for such a young player (plus a captain in the making). I'd think his market value should be more in the £60 - £65m range...however that's not to say that I think we should sell him that. We don't need to sell and definitely not to a rival so should only do so if we get a meaning premium over the market value. They can have him for £90m

It's absolute flimflam. I wish that there was a way to hold 'journalists' who collude with agents semi-accountable for their actions. BUT once again, this IS part and parcel of having a squad that is coveted by many everywhere. One thing I always notice with some amusement when it comes to mentioning our wage structure is that our bonus system is not ever even whispered. That's because our club does things behind closed doors (think about the last time a Levy deal was openly discussed more than cheaply speculated). Everyone else, meanwhile, just tries to unsettle. In fairness it happens everywhere. Oxelade Chamberlain has been off to Merseyside for months, Bellerin to Barcelona, Sanchez to anywhere and Ozil too. Madrid are losing Ronaldo. Man U losing De Gea. It happens.

I do agree, and some fans who believe what they see and read start freaking out that we are going to lose half our team. I have even read that certain players look unhappy, they have a bored look on their faces and the best one of the lot their body language shows they are unhappy and are off.

From the COYS page on Reddit.

Some buddies of mine are painting a wall near Silver Street. Looks amazing already.

What are the rules/laws about painting the side of a house/business... presumably you can't just do whatever you want?

There was a Vine done a year ago of Dier muttering 'be careful what you say' followed by three of his bone-crunching challenges against Chelsea.
I think his words were from a little jokey SpursTV segment with Dele.
