    Difficult to predict...

Don't think republicans in the Senate will do anything unless opinions among the base shifts significantly. That probably won't happen, at the very least unless Fox and the right wing media machine change their tune.

Assuming the republicans continue to circle the wagons of immorality and inconsistency the only way to get rid is the election. Really seems like a coinflip how this will influence the election.

Apparently there is in the OTC version but it’s in a slightly different package to that shown in Trump’s photo, guess even he ain’t dumb enough to admit to drug addiction.

It's the packet that I have in our medicine locker here and it's definitely the one without pseudoephedrine.

    Call me cynical-
Trump being impeached and having to release his taxes needs a diversion, so pulls troops out to facilitate the conditions for a war which the US can then rejoin as the moral heroes just in time for an election campaign?

I see that Dumpf has sold out the Kurds. The US used them to do the heavy lifting in taking on ISIS, then he abandons them. Great people the Kurds, being a progressive community in sea of medievalism.

I feel that if you were to delve into this, you will find that a very large chunk and I do mean, a very large chunk of the MAGA crowd, are actually opposed to the foreign military interventions that past US administrations have embroiled their young people in...Trump actually won the 2016 election by his rejection of both Neoconservatism and Liberal Internationalism so I very much doubt Trump could win a 2020 election having just launched a new war... War for Trump is not a vote winner.

My cynicism :( tells me that, if, there were to be a new US. military operation in the Middle East then it will have to come during Trump's second term of office and it will probably be directed at Iran.

Anyway, hasn't Trump warned Erdogan off, that if the Turkish army is sent in then he will destabilise or was it destroy the Turkish economy?

I think we should all just be thankful, that Crazy Hillary didn't get the keys to the White House and have no doubts of the mayhem she would've caused in the world..

So for now at least....All hail the GHod Emperor Trump!

Nah, I thought exactly the same. A bit scary, actually, because I wouldn’t put it past him to nuke Cuba to take the attention away from whatever brick it's revealed he's up to.

Not only is it selling out the 'boots on the ground' who did the dirty work for the US and us, if the Kurds accidentally release all the ISIS captives in the direction of Turkey, then it will liberate all the nutters that Trump and the west spent years trying to kill off.

Huge wave of Syrian refuges incoming to Europe too is a likely scenario.

The whole Syrian mess is too sad to think about. Millions of lives destroyed and displaced. How many thousands killed? And it was largely avoidable. One thing you can give Trump - he's done less to cause all this than Hilary Clinton.
