American politics

They can question them all they like. Our government has more important things to deal with than the opinion of a handful of "no war at any cost" types.

Indeed, like elected MPs who also have to question the overall validity of such a move or the overall upsides/downsides to the UK long-term...you know like a Democracy should (and not just routinely feed the whims of corporate interests)...

the 10 poorest states in the US routinely vote for a billionaires party despite getting enormous subsidies to live on which are largely democratic agendas, most of these people have pre existing conditions because they're dirt poor, but they'll vote republican because of their completely unfounded fear of losing their guns, religion and jobs is more important than staying alive in the first place.

Tragic, yet absolutely solid, facts.

Jesus will save them. Funny how that works - Jesus apparently much prefers prolonging the lives of rich old white men over saving a poor person dying alone in the streets while being spat on by passers-by. Maybe the poor guy just didn't pray hard enough. Maybe the rich guy just lived a saintly life, because rich folks are well known for being paragons of virtue.

Seriously, this is at the heart of the neo-con ideology. These loons seriously believe that GHod approves of their exploitative belief system, he is rewarding them materially because of their faith in him. They're off their rockers.

Don't' laugh too hard. There about 10 million Britons who will act against their own economic interests by either supporting their Tory masters, or by not voting at all in the up coming election. The yanks don't have a monopoly on voting against their own self interest.

I think you will see a lot of non Torys voting for May because they want to make sure Brexit goes through and you on the opposite side will get a lot Torys ( remainers) voting for the LDems because they are the only party who offers them the chance of staying in.

lets be honest after the farce that was the coalition Gov no one in their right minds would otherwise vote for the Ldems.

Spot on. Plus, they can't even appeal to the easily-swayed student demographic anymore - the 18-24 category are overwhelmingly Remain (iirc), but they're also not dumb enough to forget the tuition fees betrayal. All they'll get are the Tory Remain voters - and those of Labour, if they openly, seriously commit to a clean Brexit.

Oh, boy. Remember when Nixon sacked Archibald Cox?
