Circus ManUnitus - Erik's At The Wheel

It's normally his 3rd season where it all falls apart right? You can only rule by fear and bullying for so long before your players will turn on you and it's pretty clear some have taken the first steps and stopped playing for him. He'd need to replace half the squad over the summer to prevent serious impact on results next season and that would take another major investment by the club this summer.

Good point it's his third coming up

The Pogba situation is damning, IMO.

£90m player that has never been allowed to deliver and marginalised to the degree it looks likely he will leave.

Thats all on Mourinho.

I did like G. Neville comment "Pogba plays every game like his team is 3-0 up!"
Mourinho was the antidote to serial poor management since SAF left.
The owners were desperate to save their investment so they put their club into an induced coma. (quite topical)
Mediocrity on the field is far lesser price to pay.
Their problem is what happens when you bring the patient round.
What is going to be the cost of a Mourinho turned up to 11?

You say that, and while its impossible to argue with the results - I dont think he has got performances out of that team at all.

That they are second defies belief.

And he is tinkling money away on players he refuses to actually utilise properly or actually coach...

Not only does Sanchez earn £391k a week, he demanded he gets a £75k a game bonus should he play

He has literally had United's pants down

Feel like Carrick deserves his own thread, but just wanted to say it’s great the press he has been getting the last couple of days. Recognised as England’s missed opportunity. A player bafflingly before his time with England when he really shouldn’t have been.
