Part of me was irritated that he had been picked to come on. But then I guess a bigger part of me had been irritated about how poor our set piece delivery was throughout the game prior to him coming on...One of Son's efforts was quite abysmal I wasn't sure if it was a shot or a cross! Whilst he may not have scored one in a long time, his direct free kicks have much more potency and whip required than anyone else we have at the club (that means you Kane...) so if he's not on the pitch, as well as not having a metronome there's no set piece specialist..

Maybe but taking hundreds of corners which often failed to get over a metre in height and continuously failed to be a threat was frustrating as hell.
Madison knows how to take a corner.
Again mate, instructions to play a high difficulty attack where the runner is supposed to get the ball at near post .. over and fudging over.
Somehow new coach and the corner hit is deep?

Freekicks are on him mate, but he's played very few minutes yet somehow he's assisted a couple of goals (including from a free kick) and his corners suddenly clear the first man (and someone was waiting unmarked deep)?

I think that his confidence took a knock when he expected one of the Spanish giants to come in for him in the summer and there wasn't any interest, even when it was clear that we would accept a lowish fee for him.
