From the videos which I've briefly seen, he seems very like-for-like in terms of style with Kane. Upside to that is obviously that the team doesnt need to change the wya it plays when he comes on or stands in for Kane; downside is that its not really a plan B if plan A isnt working.

That said, we desperately need another CF and if he's available for £28m, then given his record and age, it seems like a decent enough deal

Similar from what I can tell with a couple of variations

- Kane is one of the better passers of the ball, don't think this guy will bring that
- He seems quicker than Kane, which could be a good thing

Hopefully when Kane comes back it will give us a plan B of two out and out strikers on the pitch

Anything under ~30M for a striker who has scored 30 goals in a season (yes, one season) in one of the bigger leagues is an outright bargain.

TOTTENHAM have agreed a deal worth £28million for AC Milan forward Krzysztof Piatek.

The Polish striker, 24, is set to sign a 3½-year contract and scheduled to complete a medical in the next 48 hours.

Jose Mourinho’s North Londoners will pay an initial fee of £23.8m — with a further £4.2m to come in add-ons.

Spurs will be without star goalscorer Harry Kane until April after confirming the England skipper needs to go under the knife to fix his hamstring injury.

Kane limped out of Tottenham's clash with Southampton clutching his left leg and is racing to be fit for Euro 2020 with a ruptured tendon.

SunSport exclusively revealed yesterday that Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy was desperate to bring in a new striker and planned to hold talks over Piatek.

Aston Villa, Saudi Sportswashing Machine and Crystal Palace were interested but Spurs are in pole position to land the ace, who is keen to stay at a big club.

Piatek joined AC Milan from Genoa for £30m in January last year after scoring 13 goals in his 19 games for them following a £3million move from Cracovia.

The Polish international has only scored four times this season and is keen to move after Milan re-signed Zlatan Ibrahimovic, which has pushed him down the pecking order.

Mourinho has also lost Moussa Sissoko until April with the midfielder undergoing knee surgery.

No1 stopper Hugo Lloris is recovering from injury, along with summer signing Tanguy Ndombele and full-back pair Danny Rose and Ben Davies.

And what is exactly is that!?

I actually thought the same when I saw the vids, similar in style.....quality remains to be seen.

3.5 years would seem at least a year too few when signing a player for that sort of fee?
