Lots of newspapers writing about this in Portugal, apparently, a few with good track records supposedly. I got a good feeling about this one finalising soon. :)

So he would be instead of Lo Celso presumably and fill the gap crates by Dembele leaving (ie a CM who can control from the game).

He's much more Eriksen than Dembele

In terms of style I agree, though watching a bunch of Sporting clips, he plays much deeper (ie as an '8')

We need to sign Sessegnon, Wan-Bissaka, Ndombele, Fernandes, Lo Celso and Bale

And get rid of Vorm, Carter-Vickers, Davies, Aurier, Trippier, Wanyama, Sissoko, Onomah, Edwards, Nkoudou, Janssen and Llorente

Could maybe sell Lamela if we can convince someone to stump up 30m. Pounds or euros will do.

This is the sort of balanced, thoughtful commentary that I come to G-G for, I now feel informed. :)

I spoke to a brother of mine who supports Man u and he said they expect to sign him, so it would make the signing that much sweeter. My brother also mumbled something about man u having to wait on transfers because they weren't in the champions league and were thus not as appealing. It felt really good to hear actually. ;)

The Portuguese league is quite a risky one to buy from.

Islam Slimani looked a world beater there, but was a pub player up against EPL quality.

Lo-Celso seems to be the one we want, but the Copa America has come at the wrong time for us. Fernandes seems to be being fluffy bunnies cuddlingd around a lot in the press atm though, he was a dead certainty for City a couple of weeks back only for the "ITKs" to come out and say they got it drastically wrong and he was never on City's radar.

He could still fit in the same side as Lo-Celso, but we'd be looking at a massive outlay. Unless of course Eriksen is already off for around £90-100m.

Word on the grapevine is that Man Utd have offered 70 million Euros plus 10 million in add ons, an amount we are not willing to match

If Ricky Sacks is suggesting we will sign him then we have no chance. He is such a peddler of gossip it is unbelievable

Agreed. We also need to prioritise signing Sterling, Van Dijck, Neymar, Beckham and Maradona.

You sure can! It's a bit like youtube. If you got a lot of followers, you can basically make a living out of it.
